By securing a highly competitive RFP (Request for Proposal), the client looked towards BDS’ Experiential team to help resolve two problems:

  1. Help the client take advantage of their flagship store’s location by identifying and attracting new audiences through highly well-orchestrated publicity stunts designed to excite and draw attention.

In a long-standing partnership with a major consumer electronics brand, BDS’ Experiential team was tapped to create lasting impressions through live and hybrid brand experiences that would catapult their audience into the spotlight. BDS’ Experiential team, known for their exceptional talent of engaging people with brands online and offline, curated events for the client’s flagship store, located in the heart of New York City. The goal, to generate unparalleled engagement across multiple touchpoints while placing the clients flagship store at the center of the action.

Partnership With A Purpose

BDS’ Experiential team did what it does best and devised a series of high impact, headline-grabbing publicity stunts in and around the flagship store in NYC. BDS’ Experiential team also created immersive experiences inside the store that provided the attendees with themed and unique environments to explore the clients different range of products and solutions. The timeline of events was strategically aligned and conducted to

take advantage of seasonal and festive occurrences throughout the year. Held once each month, BDS’ Experiential team and the client welcomed guests of all ages and genders, with varying degrees of product knowledge, into a 360 environment of full engagement where experiences were being created with lasting impressions that presented exceptional results for both the client and the attendees.

Pride Photo and Button Event

During the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots in New York City, BDS’ Experiential team honored Pride by creating actionable moments at the flagship store with a heavy focus around action (What actions will you take?).

In-Store Gaming Saturday

The flagship store came alive with attendees of all ages being immersed in the world of online gaming where they were presented with different unique experiences. The event brought together content creators who displayed how they use consumer products, shared their experience of what the products mean to them and interacted with fans. The attendees participated in free play and friendly competition and various build stations.

Gift Box Vending Machine

To kick off the holiday season, BDS’ Experiential team installed a gift dispensing vending machine inside the flagship store that gave out free prizes, snapped instant photos with the option for attendees to post directly to their social platforms using dedicated hashtags to drive extended engagement to the flagship store.
